The Register-Guard
Dr. J. Mark Eddy, a senior scientist at the Oregon Social Learning Center, was awarded a grant from the Federal Office of Child Abuse and Neglect of the Children’s Bureau to conduct a randomized, controlled trial of child and family outcomes related to the Relief Nursery model. The grant is one of only four given in the United States. The study is designed to last five years, and funding is awarded on a year-by-year basis. OSLC will receive approximately $200,000 for the first year of research.
