OSLC Developments, Inc.

Purpose

OSLC Developments, Inc. (ODI) is inspired to improve the healthy development of children and families through effective programs conducted in collaboration with public service systems, schools, communities, and agencies.

ODI scientists use knowledge from research studies conducted at the Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC) to develop successful programs that improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families. We specialize in implementing programs that translate findings from rigorous controlled clinical trials to real world settings including child welfare, school, juvenile justice, and mental health systems.

Relationship Between ODI and OSLC

ODI and OSLC are independent organizations, each with their own Board of Directors and areas of focus. ODI specializes in implementation and dissemination and OSLC focuses on basic and intervention research. The two organizations engage in work that is symbiotic such that the research at OSLC informs the dissemination and implementation projects conducted by ODI. Both organizations are dedicated to promoting the development, growth and enhancement of evidence-based programs that make significant impacts on public health.
