Families describes effective child management strategies and concepts that can be utilized by parents and family therapists. The first half of Families examines reinforcement concepts and describes how to use contracts and time out to change behavior. The second half of the book shows parents how to apply social learning principles to reduce the occurrence of common behavior problems such as teasing and temper tantrums.
