Systematic replication of a social learning approach to parent training

The Social Learning Project was organized in 1965. Its primary objective was to develop an empirically based, low-cost treatment approach for use with families of aggressive and predelinquent children. Moreover, one aim of the project was to design and implement procedures for evaluating the impact of treatment. This chapter functions as one of several progress reports in that it reviews the earlier work, describes in detail several recent innovations, and indicates the future direction of the project.
