DeGarmo, Ph.D."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El Dr. DeGarmo ha realizado investigaciones program\u00e1ticas sobre el estr\u00e9s familiar y los modelos de aprendizaje social de la adaptaci\u00f3n de padres e hijos a acontecimientos vitales negativos y a entornos socialmente desfavorecidos. Uno de los principales objetivos de su trabajo ha sido la evaluaci\u00f3n de la formaci\u00f3n de padres para familias en situaci\u00f3n de riesgo, como familias divorciadas y vueltas a casar, familias en viviendas de apoyo, padres biol\u00f3gicos y de acogida en el sistema de bienestar infantil, y familias militares desplegadas y en situaci\u00f3n de posdespliegue. Recientemente, se ha centrado en los efectos independientes e interactivos de la paternidad. DeGarmo ha publicado m\u00e1s de 65 art\u00edculos y m\u00e1s de 20 evaluaciones de eficacia y efectividad, incluidos trabajos sobre el proceso de aplicaci\u00f3n y la fidelidad, la mediaci\u00f3n y la moderaci\u00f3n en el contexto de los ECA y las muestras multinivel. DeGarmo tiene experiencia metodol\u00f3gica en modelos de ecuaciones estructurales, modelos multinivel y an\u00e1lisis de trayectorias lineales y no lineales.
