Preventing Parental Opioid and/or Methamphetamine Addiction within DHS-Involved
Families: FAIR
Project Overview
These two-phased grants aim to facilitate the adaptation and implementation of
the Families Actively Improving Relationships (FAIR) program for the treatment of parental
opioid and methamphetamine abuse. FAIR will be adapted for the prevention of escalation of
substance abuse for young parents, aged 16-30 years old, involved in the Department of
Human Services, who are at-risk for the development of addiction.
