The Value of Early Intervention“When we started doing research, all the experts said these problems [with juvenile violence] don't really start until age 10. So we started our studies on 9 and 10 year-olds. Now we've found there is a very strong relationship between the behavior of kids at 2 and 3 years old and delinquency later on. The adolescents who later hurt people and get into big-time trouble are the ones who start [being aggressive] early.” John B. Reid
About the OSLCThe Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC) is located in the Eugene-Springfield, Oregon metropolitan area. The center was established in 1977. The research group that founded OSLC was started by clinical psychologist Gerald R.
